EPA - WaterSense®

The Environment Protection Agency created the WaterSense® program to encourage the development of water efficient plumbing products. Products that meet the EPA's criteria receive the WaterSense® seal. All Wolverine Brass residential lavatory faucets meet WaterSense® EPA criteria.

How Does It Work?

WaterSense® lowers the maximum flow rate from 2.2 gallons per minute to 1.5 gpm. Wolverine's lavatory WaterSense® approved pressure compensating aerators precisely balances water and air in an ideal combination that offers the sensation of a full flow without reducing performance or efficiency.

How Much Will You Save?

For the average household Wolverine WaterSense® 1.5 gpm lavatory faucets will reduce water used by 11,800 gallons per year versus older less efficient 2.2 gpm aerators for a 30% total savings.

When Did It Happen?

January 1, 2010 all Wolverine Brass residential lavatory faucets now feature water sense approved pressure compensating aerators.
